Today I read a recent survey show that degrees from graduate schools no longer guarantee a good job in Taiwan. The author argues that the government’s push for higher education has caused a waste of talent.
Currently, Taiwan’s economy is not good; therefore, more young people cannot gain a good job. Most of them will stay in campus for longer time to delay the fighting for job. The best method for undergraduate students to stay in campus is to enter the graduate school. So, the students of graduate schools will increase. Undoubtedly, the question aforementioned may become more serious. I hope the gloomy time can pass quickly.
